I worked for Hartford for over 18 years as a property adjuster. I was having mental health issues and had to take a leave of absence. Hartford reps appeared to have my back, but when I did not get better within the timeframe that they thought, I was terminated. Everyone was nice to me in the beginning, but as time went on the Hartford machine eventually ran me over. What I learned from Hartford is that if you have mental health issues, you better get better within their timeframe or you will soon be unemployed.
