What made your job search successful?

For those of you who have gotten a job recently, how long did you apply for? What industry were you focusing on? What do you believe make it possible to get this particular job? I am just hoping to see what others have tried and where the real jobs are at. #advice

I was hired at my interview today, so I’m very pleased #interview

I just lost a job a few months back was homeless for a few months lost my wallet and my ID & social security card EVERYTHING! Went to jail and got in the halfway house just got my temporary ID working on getting my social... ANYWAY I started looking for another job for shits and giggles and I got a call a couple of days ago for an interview scheduled for today and I told em' about my situation and all and next thing you know I'm hired! YAY!!! I feel so blessed to have come across this employer! Now it's time to get on my feet and walk a straight path. Thank God for the blessings he has given me.

Been in Tampa 2 years. I had the worst job ever. It was through a temp service. After 2 months I now found the job I wanted. I start Friday. My nightmare is now over. Laura G.

Does this mean you got the job? Have you ever been offered a shadowing opportunity and was not offered the job? I'm very curious to know some of your experiences! I feel that this means you are close to landing that particular role as long as you feel that you are capable of doing the job. You've taken the time out to ask the employees there about if they enjoy their job, it they like the company, getting a better understanding of their daily responsibilities etc.

Hopefully with being hired at Raising Cane's I can move up with this company to live a more successful life

No I’m staring a new job on the 15th
