Leave that to be determined by your potential employer..

Just got hired! A job I had to fight for because the boss sees me as over qualified! I actually had to sell myself for a job because I'm over qualified! Felt good to be thought of that way! Yay job!

I worked at Walmart at 5600w in west valley and they hired a lot of miners from the high school to work there and all they do is talk and be on their phone and act like their working but their not working

What experience do I need to be hired as a Pharmacy Technician?

Just the licence, after that you have I think 2 years to get certified, walgreens has a program to help you pass the PTCB test for employees

I agree with Julie Koberger that it's good to have experience but some Pharmacies will train you on the job. If considering Retail pharmacies it is a MUST that you like people, and like to deal with the "general public" many of whom are often in a hurry, don't always understand what their insurance will or will Not cover/pay for, can be Very Rude, and sometimes just flat out lie. Good customer relation skills is a Must. Also these jobs can be Very physically demanding in that you are on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day. A good comfortable supporting pair of shoes also a must. If you've never been a round a pharmacy much it is like learning a second language. Terms and abbreviations unique to the medical world but don't let this stop you. You can learn this language it just takes time and determination. I've been a pharmacist 31 years and have often said a Good Pharmacy Tech can help keep the boat a float and a Bad one can sink a Ship Quick. One of the most important things you can do to keep work flow moving in the right direction is support the pharmacist. A tech who fights the pharmacist, does NOT support their efforts to get the prescriptions filled, can cause an error to occur and ultimately harm a patient. I can NOT recommend the Big Box chain pharmacies. So much of their efforts these days are focused on Money --- fill faster, faster, faster do more with less--- and Not on true patient care or safety. In the medical world you may have to work nights, holidays, and weekends. But if you are prepared to do that a Good pharmacy would be glad to train you. Hospital pharmacy is way different then retail, somewhat less stressful, and I always found it much more professionally rewarding way more then retail. Good Luck on your New endeavor.

Background Check
I just got a job at a bank and they did a fingerprint background check. I had something come up from 07 but When I called the courthouse they have no record of it and they were only able to give me a letter stating there was no record found. The girl from the recruit office said there is no further action required but I’m so nervous. How long does it take for them to comeback with a decision???

What does it take to get hired at Amazon?

Must be able to perform whatever duties they provide. Lifting standing using stepstool's.

Quite Frankly, Nowadays, it's not what you know or are experienced in, but WHO you know, would be the key to getting hired. I have experience in Lifting, Standing, the use of Stepstools whenever needed, I have worked where Long Periods of Standing is Required. So, I don't believe that is what it takes. Unfortunately, we live in a world which Who you are, not What you know! and that is terribly sad. I personally don't agree with that being fair. So, is Amazon, an Equal Opportunity Employer,?????
