Can anybody tell me about Fmla and serverance pay when a department closes?

I've had back issues for the last two years and I finally was approved for FMLA. It was going fine getting 2 days off a month without having to hold my phone in my hand waiting for a call...well my sup had a bad day and told me I couldn't come back until I was able to work 7 days 12 hours a day and lift 70 pounds. My dr will not do that I can't lift it no way possible. So long story short I have been off the schedule for 4 weeks. Can someone please advise?

Terminated after a year-and-a-half of employment for taking a bereavement day for my aunt which all in all is a great aunt but the Union contract does not state that it has to be a blood relative union says they are going to fight for me hoping I can get something out of that

Workes comp question.
due to left ankle injury at work I was put on workes compensation. I was told FMLA time will be used for this matter? few months later I broke my right ankle at home and this time I was put on Medical Leave of absences because i did not qualified for FMLA any more. 3 weeks later I received a phone call from work telling me that my job was going to be posted.Ii would like somebody opinion in this matter. ? thank you.

I was fired on the day the director told me she was giving me a leave to handle family problems with my disabled child they never told me i was fired untill 2months later after i kept calling to come back to work with no return calls or emails i feel like after i complained about my supervisor being racists. And making racial statements that made me uncomfortable. And being hard. To work with i started being singled out i enjoyed my job and did my very best to learn everything my clients loved me and are still calling me to this day wondering why im no longer there consultant and wanting to know what they can do was this legal i have 4 children to support. And have been struggling ever since even having. To move and lost my vehicle

Plea for Your Goodwill
Taking time off from my job search to undergo an Appendectomy on Wednesday. My doctor’s are concerned about this procedure do to my age and other health concerns. An awkward silence now lingers at home. My wife and children try to hide it but I can tell their worried. I still choose to have faith in God and know that I'll be able to thank him this Thanksgiving Day for carrying me through this surgery. Please keep my wife and children in your prayers this week as we undergo this frightening experience together. Talk to you all very soon.

How much protection do I have from getting fired from my job while on leave of absence? My wife had all types of medical complications after delivering our first born child. Her physical and mental conditions have deteriorated to the point where she can’t be left alone to care for our daughter. Family members on both sides have been rotating days to help us out but they’re not able to take any more time off of work. I need permission from my job to take time off to care for my wife and daughter until she fully recovers or gets more stable. I already asked my boss for the fmla forms which I noticed he was very reluctant to give me. He’s a real shady character who has no appreciation for employee loyalty. One of my co-workers already told me to watch my back. What can I do protect my job if I go on a leave of absence?

I was fired one day before asking for and turning in my papers for NJ family leave. my manager knew my disabled son was in a trauma center waiting for surgery. I believe it as fmla retaliation. she never liked that I could take off as needed, even though my work was up to par, I just received a stellar raise an a great review. I'm hiring an attorney, for wrongful termination. I was there 11 years 6 months.

In March of this year I was let go from a job that I had been employed at for almost six years. I had FMLA for my husband and when she let me go she said I needed time off to take care of my husband. But she set it up with HR that I could come back. My question is. Are they allowed to fire me with while I am on FLMA.
