Hello guys... I'm here for advices..i just moved my family out of 1 state to California long travel OK I been here bout 4months now & I been dealing with this family dollar company for 1month now OK Heres the story I been going to interviews back to back different stores trying my best to find work so that I can get my family some were to stay thinking hey they keep calling me they trying to place me some where nope that's not the case it's like when I attended these interviews each manager told me that I was a good fix did drug test back ground check still no job I been crying my eyes out cause I feel like these people are playing with me I'm explaining my situation to them telling them I need this job & that I been thru everything just waiting for a uniform.. So now I have gave up and looking elsewhere for jobs keep in mind Im still out of a home and struggling with my 3kids trying my best no to move back to my city with that being said I have alot on my plate & still haven't received any help from anyone...

I lost my job because of my grandmother who called up there complaining about me having to work all day

I'm single live alone want a job

Having to run the store by yourself cuz there's never enough payroll. And then get chewed out why the work not done. Very stressful

My favorite thing about working at Family Dollar has been getting to know the members of my community who come in to shop. I know most by name. We have GREAT customers, the best really! My co-workers are great too. This job has kind of set the bar high for all other retail jobs.

My boss was awesome, the hours were great at Family Dollar. The job for me was an easy one, no drama which I loved. I just wanted to go to work, do my shift and go home. When I was a waitress I had so much drama but with this job I didn't have to worry about anything. It was professional. They always seem to be hiring too.
