Full time job

I am 19 years old, and I graduated in June 2015. I am in search of a job to be able to move on my own, because my father doesn't want to help me anymore, because he said I'm grown, and i need to take care of myself.

What I've learned from working for a sibling who owns the company.

Get EVERY verbal "promise" in WRITING! And have both parties sign it! Even if a parent advises that you don't need to. You're family. It's too easy for the owner to say, "That's what you keep saying," regarding a promise she made to you about a promotion or details you'd be in charge of (like being in the interview when hiring the person that will be sitting next to you doing the same job as you). In other words, she forgot. I didn't. Because of that I had to resign (for my sanity) after 5 years.

One big lie

Save a lot in ashtabula gave a bit of overtime one week , nice right. Wrong, the next week after the owner found out everyone's hours were cut drasticly ,does that sound like the owners care about family , hardly.

Trusting the Bosses Mother who runs the place.
