Engineering changes for newly designed parts and trying to maintain a delivery schedule to the end user.

Hired x5
It's been six months since I worked in my field and I had applied everywhere for a job as an engineer . I went through 10 telephone interviews.. 5 on site interviews with all expenses covered .. got a job with Department of Energy .. offer rescended ..I could not get the documentation from the IRS that I had just filed my 2015 taxes because the government was shut down. I never gave up and I kept praying . At times I wanted to and I felt so defeated. I kept praying .. and at times my self esteem took a beating . Yes prayer changes things . The almighty God finally answered .Finally I got five job offers and I then chose one . I start on 4/15 with relocation assistance and the background check is completed .Please don't give up even if you feel like it . I may not be with that gov job that I wanted but God gave me a good job thirty minutes from my son in another state . He may not come through on your time table but He sure will. Don't give up and you just need one yes ! Tell your self positive things because a no does not define whom you are !!

Is it just engineering managers or are all managers bad?
So, I have been an engineer for almost 7 years now. Most importantly software engineering. What a lot of people take advantage of is the fact that as a software engineer I need to think creatively and innovatively. Of course, I have never had a manager in my career who I would say was a leader, an inspirer, or somebody I would die to work for if they started a company. I only did it for the paycheck. I am wondering, has anyone had these experiences outside of the engineering field? Another question I have does anyone also notice that managers get a whole heck of a lot of do-overs and cope outs? I noticed in my career, a manager would make a mistake but no one ever remedy the manager or talk to the manager about it, especially managers from above. It seems like once you become a manager, you can do no wrong. Perhaps this is only in engineering, but I would like others to chime in. Thanks.

Is this USA or British I need work in USA
Hi guys I’m not going to go into my life’s story but the short version is I’ve spent 25 years trying to find a way to get a job in the USA. I’ve never been happy here and I have a wide range of skills and experience in many mechanical and fabrication engineering and welding jobs. I’m qualified level 2 in welding with oxy TIG and MIG also engineering and fabrication most with distinctions and a merit or two. I’m experienced bike and car mechanic mostly USA classic cars and jap and Eng bikes I’m a fast learner and spend my spare time customising and creating bikes cars vehicles house hold items like table cat beds frames anything I can. I’m looking for a company that actually hires and sponsors for visas or helps with getting one, I’ve tried everything I hear a lot about how there are shortages of people like me and yet it’s nigh on impossible to get anyone to think about it I get offered jobs and interviews but as soon as they find out I’m here it’s over. Is there anyone out there that actually will look into this or help me please I’m desperate I’m 38 in a few weeks I don’t have long left to get there and I know there is an age limit, this is destroying my life and I need to leave this country I hate it here it’s cold it’s miserable and it’s always wet the money is rubbish and the industry is dying there’s no market for what I love to do and I wish only one thing in life to live and work the rest of my days in USA.

Has Anyone Found A Job Off JobCase
I have been looking for a job more actively because a temp job is ending this month. My boss has said I can use him as a reference. I have been unemployed before the longest time lasting almost 8 months. I am a data engineer with strong database and scripting skills. I find a lot of recruiters are hungry to talk to me but none can get me an in person interview with the hiring manager. I go through positions like water and am always getting rejected. I can do the work and didn't think it matters in the IT field as most managers can't budget and finance IT projects well and it's one of the most meritocratic fields in the world. I have tried just going directly to the hiring manager. I am using my network as well. Should I try a different strategy or just continue on and embrace the suck for another 8 months of unemployment. Or should I quit the IT field altogether?
Thanks
