I was employed and wasn’t happy with my employer because they promised me a bunch of things when they sold me on a better career and got me to leave my previous place of employment. So I stayed on but was seeking employment and got to looking into relocation jobs. Figured go some place new start fresh and in a better climate for what I do. I got a lead they even flew me down told me he would be making a decision by the 9th and promised he would call either way. I thought I nailed it. I got back and ended up losing my job I mean I saw it coming but I didn’t see not hearing from or being able to reach the company who flew me down for the interview. Now I’m screwed I have three kids and a wife and we are getting ready to lose our place and I’ve put in hundreds of applications with know calls or anything why advertise your hiring if your not going to respond to applicants?

hi, life has its ups and downs and now is definatly one of those down times for me.I quit my job sold my things moved out of my house and headed to Montana for a better job,just to be let down and disappointed. I came back to my home town and now I need to start over. Ive accumulated a vast variety of skills in my 45 years in this state and if you hire me, i promise you wont regret it!!

I have in interview for a new job here in Dallas And then I give the company 1 week to move for thise other company and then I call the manager In sen stat to let then know that I going to start with then thuesday then the guy never show up to the office and don't call me back I kik asking for him on the office but never hear from him again I call him so many times cause I leave my job just to work with then and I will like to see if someone have any suggestions plzz??? Thanx

I started working for a company as a travel consultant. I was almost completely through with training when they let me know that they did not have my background check completed. I was told that something in my background (that was actually expunged from my record) was showing up and they needed proof that it was paid off. I sent them proof that I paid that off, I sent proof that it was expunged from my record, I even sent record that there was nothing else on my record but that wasn't good enough. They wanted one letter stating that I had no other convictions from x-date to x-date. This is not something I could provide and no matter how much I explained this to them it didn't seem to matter. They still wanted this one letter. Now I back to square one looking for another job and starting all over again with training and getting to know a new company and everything.

I lost my job February 2017 also got on with some staffing agencies but they ended contract on the one and the others were only temporary. I have been without work since August 2017. Lots of job applications and interviews but nothing. Also losing hope.

I just finished doing my Hands-On training and classes for medical assisting an having the darndest time trying to find an externship I've done my online classes pd100 A&B and I do have a certificate for CPR. Even with previous experiences with in-home care and nursing homes and also I'm feeling a bit discouraged. A career change is what I needed so I wouldn't have to have multiple jobs so I can spend more time with my family, a stable support system for my family, and self sufficient for me, but I do have a past. I was a dumb kid. But working really hard to get my good to put way my bad; an finding out that that is easier said then done. I can walk with my class and graduate in time if I can just get busy with my new talent. Any pointers out there for the ones trying to change and make a difference in their communities?

I am a former Safety Manager and I just moved to a small town in Florida and can not find work not even at a fast food place. This is sad.

How do you deal with rejection letter after rejection letter? Doesn’t it bring you down?

All because of my past and being young and dumb has came back to haunt me. Can't get a job because of it.
