Any advice for someone stuck in a rut?

First let me just say this is not me complaining or seeking pity or for anyone to feel bad for me. This is an honest question seeking honest help. From 2011 to the end of 2013 I was employed with a company that I loved working for. I started as a sales associate then to the position of accountant and finally, my biggest promotion in my entire employed life, to customer service supervisor. I was excited, I felt I was moving up in the company and I truly believed that I could go further with the company. But after only a month in my new position, everything changed. A regional higher up came into the store one day and I was asked into the back office. I literally, honest to God, swear to you, thought I was about to be congratulated on a job well done, given a raise, another promotion, something along those lines. Instead, I had just walked into an "interview" about missing funds that I had apparently known about. I knew nothing. I never stole from the store let alone from anywhere ever my whole life. But they insisted I had and that same day I was asked to leave, was put on a suspension but ultimately involuntarily terminated and never again returned to that job. I was devastated. I did nothing wrong. I tried and I tried to fight it, but it was me against them and no one helped. And still to this day, over 4 years later, I still don't know what happened! Losing that job ruined so much of my life. I was so hurt all I could do was cry and sit by the phone waiting for them to call and say I could go back. And since then, I've managed. But when I think back on it, I do still miss it. But the effect it's had on my search for a new job, it's made it impossible. I can't find work. The more I'm rejected the more depressed I become. And the longer it takes to find work, the harder it will be to find work. I'm 31years old. And I'm just, stuck. I don't know what to do anymore. Any advice?

I just want to get back to work!

I have been looking for a job since September (phlebotomist/MA) applied to over 100 jobs only 1 interview, I had a professional fix my resume, went to temp agencies, I’m on almost every job market indeed, snagjob, greenkey linkden etc. I have reached out to people I don’t even know, and tried networking. I will not give up there is no option especially being a single parent, however it’s affecting me emotionally. I don’t understand.

Many years of experience

I have worked as a paralegal, office manager including all the accounts payable and accounts receivable for 25 years. The law firm that I worked for restructured their office so unfortunately I was let go with no notice. It was been hard for me to find a job with the good pay and all my experience.

Just can't find a job...

I recently graduated with a BBA. I have been working for the past six years and have adjusted my resume to include key terms to stick out to companies I have applied to. I have heard nothing back from over 30 companies (except one but was never contacted back after my in-person interview). I understand 99% of job openings I am applying for say at least 1-3 years of experience just for entry-level. I include cover letters when required. I even tested out sending my resume for a part-time job and I had all the experience required, yet declined... Hints, tips, tricks, etc. will all be very helpful right now. Thank you.

Losing Hope

I have been dealing with issues at my job. I was there for three years and didn't have any issues with my position until the company was acquired five months ago.

My new manager is overbearing and I cannot stand her. She is a micro-manager and my role has become entry-level. She's been rude to me and is just an all-around horrible human being. I'm not the only one who sees it either.

I don't want to even work for the company...I just don't like it--their culture, their tactics, how everything and everyone st my company got trampled over. I feel a loss of control and there is, without question, a target on my back.

Needless to say, I have been looking for a new job...but several months have passed and I have not been able to find anything. I have several years of experience, but keep getting rejection emails about how the company found someone whose background more "closely fit wpth their needs" or how they've gone in a different direction.

My latest rejection (phone call) was from a recruiter at a company where I had three interviews. I thought would be a great fit, but she told me how didn't see passion, in me, for their company. Thus after I made sure to follow up quickly, researched the company, and began reading up on the use cases and doing preliminary research.

I even explained this to the recruiter, but all she could say was sorry, so I ended the call.

Normally, I shake off rejection well and move on....recently, not so much. I've been searching for months, and have not made any en roads. Plus, every day, there is some new hurdle my douchebag manager throws my way. And what's even worse us that I'm willing to take a Pay cut for peace-of-mind.

I feel very depressed and hate getting out of bed,in the morning.
