Last year was the worst year ever house fire and losing so much. I had temp jobs but of course didn't last long now the company I used to work for doesn't even let me know I know they get openings when it comes to no drivers license but oh well. And I apply Everywhere in town and keep getting rejected..but not giving up yet. If anyone knows online jobs or needs help proof reading anything I can do it.

I am an older graduate student working towards my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Play Therapy Certificate who is not only looking for a practicum and internship, which I know will be unpaid, but also looking for a job. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology that I received in 2010 in which I could never find a job with. I have had many jobs over the years ranging from office work in my 20s and 30s (while raising young children) to nanny work and volunteer work in domestic violence shelters in my 30s and 40s. Because of my range of skills, I can do many different jobs; however, when I apply for jobs or a practicum and internship, I rarely get an interview. Even when I do get an interview, I rarely get a call back for another interview or for a job offer. I have applied for entry-level jobs that I am over-qualified for, for jobs that I am qualified for, and for ones that I am a bit under-qualified for. I have only had one company call me for an interview in the past year. The person did not show up so I was interviewed by someone else. She evidently liked me and saw great potential in me as she referred me for a job higher up in the company and someone else within the company called me. I sent in the paperwork that they needed and nothing else happened, no matter how often I contacted them.

I have my resumes and cover letters related to each job and they are checked by my University and by a center here that works with people who are looking for jobs. I have a Fieldwork Portfolio for when I go to a practicum and internship interview and have not had one of those as of yet--but I am definitely ready! I do constant research on what and what not to say and do in interviews to get a job and use those skills, but they still do not work. I am myself in an interview and still do not get the job. What am I doing wrong? What else can I do? Does anyone have any ideas?

I lost my job last June 2016 and have been looking for a teaching job. I ran out of my unemployment and all the while, I have been looking for a position filling out applications that take hours to complete. I have a valid teaching certificate and 17 years experience. So far the biggest school district here in North Texas told me good luck on my job search. I think my trouble with getting a job has to do with a bad evaluation I got several years ago, but I have to answer honestly on job applications. I am also handicap, I show up at interviews using a walker or my scooter, depending on the place I go to interview. Should I be having such a hard time finding work, or did all the rules change and I didn't know about it?

I’ve been actively looking for a job for months now. I’ve applied to probably 30 jobs to no avail. I had someone reach out to me via email wanting to set up a phone interview. I responded and gave her the days and times I was available. I got an automated email response stating that she was out of the office and would return on January 28th. I waited almost a week and never got an email back from her, after telling her I was still interested and wanted to set up the phone interview. I never got a response and from the website looks like the position was filled. I have 5+ years in customer service and my last job, which ended in September, was Personal Care Assistant. I worked as a PCA for 4 years. I am trying to get into the administrative/receptionist field but no one is giving me a chance. I changed my resume a couple times thinking that was the problem. I got a call 2 days ago and had a pre interview screening with a recruiter and I am hoping and praying I get the job. I am a month away from losing my house. I am behind on every bill. I’m losing hope and I am starting to feel like I’m a worthless. I know I can do any job. I am a hardworker and I know have the potential to be a great receptionist/administrative assistant. I just need someone to give me a chance. I am not one to write on a forum or anything for that matter but I honestly feel hopeless. I have two little boys and it doesn’t feel good to always receive emails that begin with Thank you for applying......or position filled.

Been unable to find work for over three months and the work I was at was out of town. Now I'm unable to drive right now and the job opportunities I get are for out of town. I'm thinking of moving, and I have no money to afford a place, I'm currently staying at a friend's, so if I do I'm gonna have to move into a homeless shelter for a while, I don't what to do that but I have to try something to get work.

I haven’t had much work experience being 19. I served in the army for a little over a year but got injured and nobody is willing to hire me. I’ve had hundred of interviews and nothing. I was “let go” in their terms from a stinking temp agency. I’ve had no income for a little over a month now. I’ve been looking anywhere from construction to a secretary and nobody is willing to hire. I’m willing to take anything at this point. Overseas contracting jobs have been one of my biggest options so far

I'm a mid 30 year old male who's received 3 degrees in psych and mental health. Not only that I'm a veteran but for some reason I can't find a good paying job and most importantly a career. Now that I have my Masters I often say I'm no better then when I first started. I have dreams of starting a career and working, doijng what I love for the next 20 years but times running short. What's the point of getting if theres no guarantee the investment will pay off. Makes no sense. Can someone assist with some advice. In the mean time I'm just going to keep praying and working on my spirit cause Lord knows we all need strength and guidance.

I had my interview last week and they told me I wouldn’t hear anything back from them until another week from now. But I get an email yesterday about I will no longer be proceeding in the interview process which would be my third interview for them. I really thought my interview went extremely well and my skills definitely I thought qualified me for the job . I’m just so tired of the disappointment with these companies.

Whent to a job fair and the owner of the casino looked at my application and said sorry we cant hire you becuse u havent worked in the. Last 3 mounts well how can i work if no one is hiering
