Have over 50 applications...not one job has gotten back with me...completely over getting a job. Have a 6 year old..no matter how much you call or put in a damn application no one wants to hire you

I am now applying for very low paying opportunities and still getting turned away. I applied for opportunities as a cashier at many big box retailers in recent weeks and can't even gain an interview just get the rejection letters. I even applied at a local bakery for counter help and was rejected when I handed in my application in person and I was dressed to interview the lady said I was not what they were looking for. I just don't get it the door is slamming even before I can get into the door now what the heck is going on I am qualified in fact over qualified for all of these positions but willing to get what I can get at this time in order to work and look at the same time for that right job. How much rejection is a person to take before they realize to just give up.

More than once has my wife and myself met with employers that we have applied with through recruiters told us they never received our resumes or applications through the said recruiters. Just so happens the employers we did connect with was contact directly, have all the applications I have spent so much time on not making it for consideration? Always asked to join the premium on these sights and pay monthly fee, not premium applicants not being considered because their applications not being sent?

My moms getting old and cant pay for her medications, no one in the fields will give me a job, because I have no money too offer them for gas, I have tried too get back on my ssi, when I became disabled, now am fighting a case, but nothings been confirmed, I tried too keep a job in warehouse facilities, but my emotions were too sensitive to deal with the attitudes of many, I have tried so hard too get my diploma but my teachers are always avoiding too credit my work, I was told I'd be graduating and now shes confused..... I haven't had any problems with the law, and lately I have been going thru a stress, that has lead me too shut down in many ways. I have seeked for mental health but I don't meet theyre criteria. What if I have a mental break down without anyone knowing, I don't want too hurt anyone, and I have been seeking help. I have lost privileges of being with my kids due to my mental disability, I don't understand this system.... I wanted too raise my kids, and they've taken that away from me, and now they've taken my hopes in having a second chance too become successful......

After being downsized due to restructuring, the last several interviews I've been on tell me I'm 'overqualified'. My current response for them wasting my time for pulling me into an interview already knowing my background...."If I'm overqualified, then I'm succeed at the position". I mean..come on...overqualified...or am just to old for the position you are looking to fill??? Frustrated!

Hi all! My fiance and I recently relocated to the Denver area for a position she obtained at a nearby charter school. We came from Miami, Florida where we were both teaching. I am a Teach for America alum ('14) who's most recent title was Academic Program Director (Academy of Forensic Science and Biotechnology) as well as high school Forensic Science teacher and I was good at what I did. I have been searching for a full-time position for almost one year now and am beginning to lose hope a bit. I am posting in an attempt to discover position vacancies in the area, or to connect with someone who may be able to help me advance. I have been putting in applications and still getting no where I just wished there was a job that I can get that will hire, I am tired of feeling with that with me switching jobs due to avoiding conflicts with the supervisor or boss is hurting me. so if there is anyone out there that could help me get a job or someone would give me a chance i am outgoing and great personality i do love to work

I'm tired and frustrated that I can't get hire cause of a background check. I got turned down by 4 companies job offer after they ran a background check on me, and see a felony charge on my record then I get a phone call or an email saying they have to reject of the offer caused they don't hire anyone with a felony that is less than 7 years. I got a college degree, 10 years of. Management and machine operation experience, but it don't matter if you have a felony on your record.

I have over 10 years experience as a Senior Operations Manager. Now I'm looking for a new employer and they just blow me off like I have nothing or want some fresh out of school type. I ran a multi million dollar company day to day. If I would have had anyone on my team hire new employees this way and be as rude as a couple I have met, I can say with 100% confidence they would have been looking for another job. What has happened to manners in the HR world. HEART BREAKING.

I applied to so many jobs and nothing they want you to work but they won't cut you a break I'm getting to the point of given up...
