The biggest mistake I made as a #SpecialEducationTeachersAssistant at #SpartanburgSchoolDistrictFive ...
I should have called transportation when a student ran off my bus to his suposed grandmother's house on the way to school, one morning. I lost my job that I loved as a Special Education Teachers Assistant. Ever since that time I have been depressed, suicidal. I now live in poverty. I have isolated from all my former coworkers and friends. I stopped singing and attending church. I believe God has forgotten about me because no one will give me a state or government job. I can't even get a job as a delivery driver for PTI Transportation or Bite Squad. PTI Transport had set me up to hire me then changed their minds and won't return my phone calls. It's been 5.5 years and I believe I am still being punished for my mistake.

What I loved working at #SpartanburgSchoolDistrictFive
Yes

An unforgettable situation at #MastersInstitute
It must have been this one particular morning that I could not log on. So, I spent the next few hours emailing my Professor or anyone that could explain what was going on. I thought maybe there had been a storm, lightning, anything is possible, right? Finally, I received an email from a fellow student and a picture of the problem. I could only imagine his shock that morning as he arrived on campus. At that moment, I understood why I couldn't log on. It was all starting to come clear, but I would have never dreamed it was possible. I know everyone was either in shock, pissed off, or both. We were only three weeks from graduation. The friend who was on campus, standing in front of the school, staring in disbelief. The pic he sent was of a sign that had been taped to the front door. It read "Masters Institute will be closed till further notice" Please contact your academic advisor for all questions or to make any kind of arrangements for personal belongings or any other issues. It went on to explain that they had filed bankruptcy and then below the sign was a mass of chains, which had been draped around the door handles and secured with huge padlocks. Not any kind of notice what so ever. It was so unexpected. Not only did I not get to graduate and the excitement of that, but the government still made us pay back our student loans. I fought them over it as long as I could with no success.

How #MastersInstitute changed me
It made me never want to attend any kind of school online.

I wanted to work at #Ess because they staff substitue's in Vineland where I have been working for almost ten years. I also like that they pay weekly.
I like working with children in the school setting.

A time when a teacher inspired me at #NortheasternIllinoisUniversity
I was 2 semesters away from finishing my M.A. in Political Science when a professor introduced me to the subject of Terrorism. The course led to other courses and research and writing about the subject became my life long passion.

My advice to people interested in working at #GrandCanyonUniversity as a #Regionaladmissioncounselor ...
working for GCU was great, how ever, the school splits into two company, GCU the university, is a non profit status, and it's admissions company is GCE. GCE is for-profit company, it does all the recruitment for GCU. GCE is all about number only, they have weekly goals, monthly goals, how many phone calls the representatives make, it's a sweat shop, you can work from home, but you are on call 24/7, and the online division is even worse than the ground division.. I will not recommend any body to work for GCE, unless you want to stress all the time.

Hired on part-time at Amazon!!! Great pay (for me)
Needed to supplement my Teacher Assistant job for the school system and found an Amazon gig (seasonal/part-time!) $18/hr shift differential (working nights over the weekend)
Very excited! Thankful for this community

What I loved working at #MinistryofNationalEducation
Working at the Ministry of Education means working in a public school, Getting a work contract with the Department of Education is a guaranteed job. It's a policy of working in all third world countries I think.

When I worked at #CollegeoftheCanyons I gave great advice when
Told several students the importance of continuing their education. Advised my immediate supervisor how to earn another promotion.
