There was lots of travel in the 8 southeastern states, which I enjoyed.

I had been teaching and coaching for 30 years and was earning about $40000 a year. I doubled my salary in 5 years and improved additional items (retirement for example). I really enjoyed working with educators from throughout the America. I also was a great proponent of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) through my summer employment with the Board.. I felt that the Board was improving teaching in the US. I went to Educational Testing Service (ETS) to work on the NBPTS projects and did so until ETS lost the contract. I then worked mainly on teacher certification (Praxis for example).
