No becoming a key holder

I am trying to get on at Dollar General position as stock how do i get on

Did anyone else get treated like trash there or just me

I’ve been working at Dollar General for about 11 months now working really hard. I started as a retail associate and moved up to key-holder and then assistant manager and just found out that I’m going to be moved to a nearby store and be the store manager! I told my mom and she was really excited for me to finally start my career! Just wanted to share that it is possible for people to get an entry level job here and then move up!!

Usually a lot of people complain about bad customers but I always try to be kind and help them anyway I can. My job at Dollar General helped me build customer service skills and i honestly like talking to the people who come in. I was helping an older woman find something for her grandson and this other woman just kept following us around and clearing her throat.. I turned around and smiled and told her that I would be with her shortly but i was busy helping another customer right now.. She totally flipped out saying she had somewhere to be and i had no customer skills and she was going to get me fired!! The woman I was helping just cut her off and told her I was just trying to just do my job. I was so grateful because i didn't want to get fired that day.

I worked there for 2 days and quit because the employees and management is terrible and lazy I was having to do not only my job but there's too. So I found a better opportunity and he claims I'm burning bridges.

I would love to come work for you. I live in the area and will work to my full potential. I really need a job. With lack of transportation to go elsewhere, the Dollar General located in Prospect Hill, NC would be the best fit. I'm hoping they will start hiring soon and give me a chance to do better for myself.
