The best reason to work at #DollarGeneral is
I enjoyed working there it was seasonal job.

The most important thing I learned at #DollarGeneral was
Dollar General is you need great customer service, and patience. You need to be able to handle many tasks at once.

My first job
I worked at South McDonald's in Somerset. I started on June 2nd. I had to have a yearly check up at the doctors office and they told me I had a low grade of Staph Infection. I told my manager about as soon as I got to work. The manager was leaving and she told me that I had to work even though I had Staph. Also, that the Staph cannot spread as long as my wounds were covered up. The fact about Staph if you aren't aware is that is spreads throughout the whole body and I also had open wounds on my hands. While I was working I felt to guilty touching little kids yogurts and handing out food and drinks. When I got my 30 minute break 4 hours later I called my mom crying and I told her how bad I felt. She told me that I am 18 years old and I needed to make my own decisions and that the world was cruel. I told her, "The world may be cruel, but I'm not going to do this to people. This is wrong." At the end of my shift which was 1:00am I quit McDonald's. Now that I'm healed and Staph free I found me another job at Dollar General that gives me better hours, better pay, and treats me fairly.
