There is a dollar General hiring here but my house and I cant put a application in online it will not let me .. That is the only way to apply for this job and I am in desperate need of a job and its a very convenient location.

I enjoyed my job and all aspects. I enjoyed the employees that I worked with. For the most part it was not stressful and I stayed busy. I am a people person so I definitely enjoyed my customers and getting to know the regulars by name. All in all I loved my job and I hoping for the same experience again as well.

I loved workink for dollar general i would try to make stocking days like a milestone compileing system and i knew that if we got 22 carts in fir a truck and i put 17 or 18 alone j the next morn and was still able to take care of all my customers in a neat non over exaughsted way lol i miss it so any dollar general in beebe or searcy let me k plz thanx

I’m a key holder at Dollar General which means i open in the morning and organize things and bring the deposit to the bank… then when my associates show up i give them the till for their registers and help with a ton of things thoughout the day.. It’s good work and the coworkers can be hit or miss but i have a good crew and even trained a few of them myself. Closing all i do is count the money in the tills to make sure none went missing and get the deposit ready, make sure everything is set and ready and then lock and set the alarm.

Working at Dollar General has been good so far, but you do work hard. Some people think being a cashier is easy, but it isn't! I feel like the busiest times are on my morning shifts before people head to work and right after they get out around 5. I run around like CRAZY! Management does a good job giving us extra people around the holidays, but sometimes I wish I had one more person in the mornings. Should I ask for help?
