Has anybody been threw #discrimination from work-school-home-personal/etc. ......................????
Recently, I twisted my ankle so dammm bad from work ( at the Embassy Suites hotel-off the 55 freeway ). My new boss doesn't & will not know where I live at a homeless shelter.Company's, that I have been interview with or regular people. Will discriminate the homeless people......Trust me, I have been put down because of this SHIT...

Discrimination
I want to make this as public as possible. I just went on an interview. I was first misled to go into interview for a General management position that was already filled some time ago, he was confused as to what I was applying for and he was the owner of the corporation. My background has a lot to do with government in which "Jim" a fellow from India said were jobs "you can't get fired from" which by the way, is untrue, my last position with the government was completely at will and you could absolutely be fired at any time and for any reason. He stated over and over they aren't the Government so they can't just "print money" when that was a response that didn't apply. He then asked if I had disabilities and went on to literally ask "how fast can you run?" This had to be one of the worst interviews I have been on. This man was so unprofessional I'm uncertain how he has even made it this far...my guess is money. He may not print it but being the owner of several franchises my guess is he makes his fair share. I really would like to know just what the motivation behind this was today.

Then what is it?
Sure ageism is present and of illegal but hard to prove. Yet, it is not the only thing that prevents others from getting a job period. Is it salary desire? Racism? Gender bias? Computer vs. Human? Degree status? Overqualified? Budget costs? Laziness? Are they complete assholes overwhelmed by too many applicants? Not enough experience? Benefits? Are they too picky? Or is it your own fault for getting in your own way? Educate me with your own opinions and lessons. Law of Attraction or not, its tough out there! Love you all! God bless and hood luck!

Autistic and current employer bullying me to quit
I am constantly shamed and made fun of at work I have gone all the way past HR but nothing is being done. There is a girl in the room trying to sell me drugs and she just plays on her phone all day while I pick up the slack. I have tried telling my supervisor but he is her father. And HR and corporate are doing absolutely nothing. I was told by HR that if they had of been more aware of my condition they wouldn't have hired me and they to degrade me. I need a slow to mid paced job that would be respectful to my mental health. Lufkin, Texas area

My biggest challenge I overcame at work was...
Prejudices I felt I was being treated differently verses other staff

Introverts
Why is there a stigma against introverts. Why do they say introverts are the ones shooting up these schools and other place. The world stupidity is the reason I don't communicate with people therefore I isolate myself, which is my protection. I'm already non educated, unemployed, African American and gay. I don't need to be called another title.

Is this Work Discrimination
Was called in to a job for a interview and when I got there employer talked for about 2 mins she stated that I needed to come in so she could see what I look like. Was also told I’ll be they would call me and email next day to take test for job. So when I was leav she happened to get into same elevator and ask questions on origin of name and such..

Salary is a way for employers to abuse employees
As General Manager of my last job, salary was used as a whip to work whomever labeled with it like a Slave literally. I even had big wigs forget they were talking to me, “another salary abused employee “ that wasn’t just white collar worked to the bone (90% of my days were manual labor) , these HNIC(CEO) has the nerve to say “Give the new guy salary so I can work the dog piss out of him! I gotta get every penny worth out of him” .. Smh... Unbelievable!... but very real... Too many employers are using this new age form of slavery using Salary as a way of justifying abuse and misuse of paying someone their hard earned income wages while getting double and triple the amount of worked hours from these employees deemed classified as “salary” paid employees. Being paid for 40 hours while contributing mandatory 120 plus hour weeks on a regular basis is just not fair, humane, honest, or justifiable in any perspective. Plz feel free to chime in with your thoughts on this, I know I’m not alone out there. I don’t know why our state of NC shot down the law of paying overtime for salary employees to stop employers from abusing the system in such the way as we see it happening today. Cmon NC , let’s speak up and make our voices heard to end this unjustly form of labor abuse. Loop holes are found everyday, so where is the one that works in the favor of “the people”??

Disability friendly work?
I'm 16 and trying to find a job in Chicago area anyways I'm disabled and have a service dog which makes things a lot harder. Had to quit my job because they didn't believe I had a disability (reality of being young and having an invisible disability) amc and Marcus theaters by me are very acomidating but there's no positions other than bar tenders lol. I feel like a job at jewelosco would be to much for my health standing to much wise. I'm just very worried I won't be able to find a job due to my disabilities. I'm a hard worker and end up pushing myself to much woops. Here's a pic of the pup.
