Job situation
I have to share this with everyone,I posted last week about 3 interviews in two days& i took a position that i really don't care for until the other position was offered,& i have to say i have to thank God for opening doors for me,I wasn't chosen for a position in a Detox Center behind the other individual was more qualified to work in the Detox Center,But the Clinical Director of the Detox put me in position for employment in the Rehabilitation Center. When i had my initial interview for the position,The Clinical Director& Rehabilitation Clinical Director were the two that held my interview,Now i am going tomorrow afternoon to claim what has my name on it.I just want to say,You have to be diligent and steadfast in all things that we want in our lives.God is Good,I am very grateful for the breakthrough.

Please if you do not know addiction, don’t do it. You make it harder for us who do. You have less tolerance for someone struggling, because you do not understand where they are coming from or have been. I work with nurses who have no clue what the mentality of our patients have. They scream, cry, and cuss you out, but most of the time it’s not you but their situation and their frustration. They don’t want to be an addict. But for whatever reason here they are. But if you truly what to understand addiction go to some open AA ,NA or CA meetings and listen to their stories. If you then have compassion for them , then try it. It’s not a job for someone who doesn’t understand substance use disorder. JMO
