Requesting information repeatedly from several of the licensing agencies in order to finish processing a claim, and often not receiving a reply to my phone calls or email request for 3 to 5 days later.

I never encountered such behavior, because I never speak directly or indirectly to customers. They are not allowed in our department. I only speak over the phone or by email to agency representatives submitting claims on behalf of the customer.

I have a passion to provide direct services to the families. This is the daily tasks of a Social Worker assigned to Family Services. , I was assigned to the Family Service Unit from 2011 to 1/3/2019. The families had received a valid report of abuse or neglect regarding one of the children. During the investigation, the parent verbally agreed to accept services and the case would be transferred to Family Services. The Family Service Worker visited the home on a regular basis to assess the safety and the basic needs of each children, The social worker provided services to the entire family. During the initial assessment, the social worker was to identify the family strengths and their weaknesses. The parents would verbally agree to participate in services to assess if the protective capacity has been enhanced or diminished.. Some of the case were closely monitored twice a week due to drug affected new born babies, and children who had medical or special needs.
