I just started attending college 6 weeks ago, Monday. I did not know or maybe to be honest think that I could or should start college. at the age of 61+ and also after having a serious accident 18 years ago, which left me with memory loss, and shakey hands. But, I just took one day and thought, I want to do something just for me. I am now taking Eng 101, and SFS 140 (Stragies for Sucess) Daymar is a very caring career college, and they will go out of their way. My English instructor is what I call a woohoo man, when he gets excited and he does very often, he says "woohoo".
My SFS instructor is well to put it politelly, way out there. My major is Medical Billing & Coding, which will start next quarter.. When I get to school, my whole dismeaner changes, I try to put all my worries from home back at home. I love being in school again. I did not do good in high school; in the 1970's and did not graduate., I went back to school in 1991, and in 1992, I graduated with a GED. I loved it so much, that I decided to stay in school. I got a certificate in Small Business Management,, Medical Terminology, and Medical Assisting. Listen, your never too old to do something special for yourself, especially education. GOD BLESS-vgc
