Take paper and pen for notes by discussion on job: ask if ladders are still used to inspect roofs or are drones in use. Are estimates computer based? Are statements voice recorded?

Only in Alabama and just a few other states, make people take background checks just because they don't trust us anyway.

Employers that hire felons?

Is there anybody out there that hires people with felonies? I’ve been denied really good jobs just because I’m still on felony probation. And I’m not looking for a job that has no growth within the company

Well rounded journeyman carpenter

Depending on how old they are.. after 7 years you have no worries .. construction industry is where we felones used to go. 75 % of this country was built by felones.. but it'd getting tougher every day to find decent employment with a fair wage and just treatment... ..Walmart- McDonald's job core... anything in building where your not coming into contact with the public - customers or enter peeps residence is a good source..

Get employed first, then continue your job search; remember that any employer is going to have trust issues with you and they will need to have ways to deal with it.

Keep an open mind while job searching

I find it's best to stay flexible while searching for employment and even looking into second chance employer ads and attending job fairs is a great way to make multiple connections and find an opportunity that will be a great fit.
