Paperwork-loving gadget gal

I'm really having trouble getting interviewed. I have a spotty job history for the last several years because of developing a medical issue which is now managed. Should I address this in my cover letter?

cover letter

what should be included in a cover letter? I plan to apply to certain companies with multiple sites of operation in different cities near me. In my cover letter, if I don't know the name or specific facility of the person who will receive the resume, what are some suggestions.

Cover Letter Rules?

My goal is to narrow in closer to landing an opportunity to interview by being more proactive and setting up more contact expectations with management on my cover letter. Should I add a timeline on my cover letter when I will call the HR department to follow up on my resume after I apply?

Cover letters

Any advice on writing cover letters? I tailor my resumes and cover letters to each job I am applying to and I know we are suppose to point out any accomplishments, but what if you don't really have anything that stands out? How do you capture a prospective employers attention?

Does this Help?

I applied online to several reputable construction companies for a Project Manager position. Thinking back, I should have included a cover letter with each application and resume to stand out with corporate recruiters. Does anyone read cover letters anymore? All my experience and skills are on my resume but I still have time to go back and add a cover letter if that’s going to boost my chances to get an interview. What should I put on a cover letter that isn’t already on the application and resume? Suggestions??

Do you need a cover sheet

I applied for a hospital . And I sent my resume. The deadline for applications is for the 19th but I'm feeling like I'm second guessing myself. I didn't send a cover letter or my references should I resubmit my application process again???

I interviewed yesterday for a county office position. I was notified by e-mail that they wanted to interview me. In the e-mail, they requested that I bring a resume and references which I did. They asked for my references which I gave them. I was waiting for them to ask for my resume, but they never did. Should I have offered it to them anyway? If so, do you think this will ruin my chances of getting the job?

I would like some help revising my resume. The problem is that I need someone familiar with my profession to guide me. I would like to change the setting in which I work, but all the bites I get on different sites are for jobs like the ones I've had before, even though I include a cover letter explaining my current goal. I am qualified to do the work I am currently searching for. I am an RN.
