How much do general laborers start at as far as pay per hour

What's the position and payment?

Accepting a full time job after just starting a part time one
I have a lead on a very good full time job opportunity. I currently work two part time jobs as that is all that I have been able to land. However, I started one, with a retail company, less than a month ago, after the hours were cut at the first job I currently have. The first job was once full time but the hours got cut. The full time position offers plenty of overtime, with the chance to work 60 to 70 hours or more a week, as much as I would like. I am behind on many bills and want to get my finances caught up. If I decide to leave the part time jobs, how should I approach it, especially with the one I just started? I am not sure I will even be able to give the customary two weeks notice if I accept the full time position. I do not like that, but it is what it is. I do not want to burn bridges but also am conflicted, because I feel in the end that I have to look out for my best interests. I welcome any feedback that will give my constructive advice on how to move forward. Thanks.

Need Work Badly
I am a 45 year old man and I seriously need to find a job. My wife is disabled and I have to take her to all her medical appointments. Our money is running out and her SSI will definitely not pay for our living expenses, despite them being low. I will do anything at all, from fast food to customer service. I have a BBA in Finance. My address is located just outside Columbia City, OR. Please? Any help out there for a scrub like me?!

Help please!!
Hi jobcase friends. My name is Jade Goins. I feel like I am having a mid mid life crisis. I am only 26 but the years are passing and I find myself waking up day after day in the blink of an eye. It start to worry me and I get upset, then start to panic. I had an ok job about 3 months ago where I was making a killing. It was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my days and was making me miserable. But I have responsibilities as a father, man, and fiancé. There were also ways for me to better myself and move up in the company so that motivated me to stay. Plus the $$$. I then got into it with a boss I knew personally outside of the job. Was very very close with this person. He proceeded to fire me after being there going on 3 years. I made a name for myself and planned on being with for the rest of my life... At the time. Although not to happy there. It paid the bills! I then tried shrugging it off and at the time thought I would be able to find a job very quickly. With a big head after making 20+ dollars an hour for over three years.. I now find myself in a struggle to find a job outside of my skill set or even with in my skill set that doesn't require me to go thru a temp agency. I work hard and am really trying to better my life and future. Not just for me but for my family. I have worked in the factory/construction field my whole life and would love to expand my skill set and learn new things. Helping people and kids have always been something I love to do. My dream was to be a sports athlete but that did not work. Would love to teach Gym at a grade or middle school just do not know if I could get through years of schooling. I know I know, I'm doubting myself. Being a park ranger would also be an extremely cool job. Very passionate about nature and camping as well. I am sick of applying to factory after factory and temp agency after temp agency. It's now becoming a struggle to pay the bills and I need to find something quickly. If anyone has any advice or could help that'd be awesome!! Reply or reach me at my email jadegoins11@gmail.com Thanks

Terminated
I was tefminated a little over 2 wks ago. I was promised my last check would be mailed to me, i still have not recieved it. I dont want to go back to the store i got fired from, they have nothing to do with pay. Should i ask and call someons from corporate if its not in today with the mail? How long does an employer have to send out last checks after you have been terminated?

Hi Everyone! Last check?
I think I know the answer but I want to confirm. I was wondering when you get laid off aren't they supposed to have your final check that day and if they don't and its two weeks later , what should you do?

Eric Vasquez, any posiition open

Legal or illegal?
I was at my job for about 2 months but in that short time I really impressed my Gm and during the holidays a lot of people did no call no shows and we're fired so my job was low on employees. My Gm asked if I would want to be a manager I said yes and he updated my restrictions in the system so that I had manager access for things such as the safe for shift changes and the cash drawer for shift changes or returns and things like that that only a manager could do and not a regular employee. I wasn't trained like most managers because of the short handed staff we had because of the holidays as I mentioned so I instantly had my own shift to run and had to learn as I went if I ran into something I couldn't do I had to call the help desk and try and figure it out with them. Anyway I learned quick and had no problems running my own shifts and got my gm out of a tuff spot and gave him time to hire new employees. But I was to keep my shifts and stay manager but hadn't received my raise. The minimum a manager makes was a dollar more then what I was making. My boss told me he had to get it approved threw corporate but that I would get my raise soon. Well I ran my own shifts as manager for 6 weeks before I told my boss what's going on with my raise. By then he had hired new employees and new managers and could get my shifts covered so he put me on a different shift where I was not the manager and told me it was just for a week or 2 till I get my raise and then I would get my own shifts again. He said he was doing it to be fair to me and so that I wouldn't have more responsibility on my shifts that I wasn't getting paid for and that once it got fixed I would even get back pay for the 6 weeks I worked as manager and didn't get paid as one. Well before I got my raise I was fired for calling and saying I was gonna be an hour late because my son was hurt at school during recess and had to pick him up. I just received my last check and it did not have my back pay for the 6 weeks I was a manager and did not get paid as one. Is that legal or is there something I can do about it?
