Proctor and Gamble: Forklift Driver, Line Work, Picking and Packing, Inspection, Loading Machines and Trucks, Safety Monitor, Write Ups, Training

I'm not hearing back from employers. I am currently working with XLC Services which is Temporary Service. I have been with them for about 2 years but I need more money and job security. Whenever they get a call for a reference, I get called into the office and they say that they don't want me to leave because I am their best employee and that they are going to fight for me to stay. I just don't understand why I rarely get a call back from employers.

Six months and still no job!

Hello All! I know if anyone would understand my current situation, it's the people on this messaging system. I was "let go" from my job on August 1st of 2016. Since I'm in the bank industry and I left on good terms with my last employer, I've had many people in the industry refer me to others in Commercial Banking. Since August, I've reached out to many people but few with actual job openings. I recently interviewed with a bank who wouldn't be ready to hire until early summer. I'm also waiting to hear back from another bank that i interviewed with three weeks ago. When I met with them they told me that they were interviewing six out of many applicants and at the time that they had already narrowed it down to four and I was one of the four. Ive since spoken with them but they still had one more interview to do and that was last Monday. I left a message today inquiring about the status but haven't heard back. In the meantime, I just received my last unemployment payment, I'm a single woman with bills to pay. I met with a temp agency back in November as my "Plan B" and spoke with them yesterday about needing to work. They have a couple of potential jobs for me but, I'm starting to lose my patience with this whole job search. I have bachelors degree in business and I've taken job specific training over the past couple of years and a college course specific to my job this past semester. I'm trying to stay positive and have faith that I will land a job soon and everything will fall into place but today I had a meltdown and could use some words of wisdom from those who have conquered this mission!! Thank you!!

advice!!!

Okay I'm new to this right here but I see positive outlook on things. I was working with a company just recently and I had some problems with a few of the managers. They would cuss at you, talk about something personal that was discussed with them because it was felt like that it should have been known. So anyways the head manager of this company was told and nothing was done about. So after this was spoken of I noticed that my day ls were cut from 5 or 6 days down to 1 day a week. I have bill to pay along with four children so I had resign from this employment. Could anything be done about this? So many things this could be labeled as. It's not right treating others like trash than treating some like your pet. What could I do???

need money

Anyone knows a job i can work at but kinda under the table? For example: doing yard work but your boss doesn't hire you through paperwork....more like you just go in for an interview. I have a court date coming up in march and in order for me to go to my drug classes i have to pay for them and i can not pay with out any money. So can anyone help or knows a place and/or person I can speak with about my situation. Thx :)

Angry!!

I was minding my own business at work when I overheard a fellow coworker talking about how much they make. We are both salesmen at the same store, hired at basically the same time, and from what I heard he is making WAY MORE than me - not from commission, but in base pay. I know there could be other reasons but it’s hard not to think it’s because of race. I don’t know how to address the situation, but right now my heart is beating so fast as I type this because I am so angry. I feel betrayed. I thought I was respected at this job, but I guess I was wrong.

What the heckkkk

I have applied for so many jobs in the past month. Why have I not received responses from any of them?! Don't I deserve at least a "no thanks"??? I need to find a job soon before I lose my car, apartment, and mind. What else can I do to get hired after I apply?

$685 Invoice

I live an hour away from work and rely on my car to get there...last week i was told it won't pass inspection...there is no public transportation near by I can use to commute back and forth to work during my work schedule. I can’t afford to pay the $685 dollars in repairs it’s going to take to get my car fixed so it can pass inspection. I'm afraid my boss will fire me if he finds out I need time off to figure out my transportation problem....has anyone else been in this situation??
