I am a mothed of 3 young children that is participating in the family drug court program so i have to work certain hours because i take afternoon classes. It seems like i cant find a job anywhere that will hire me right now because my hours are not flexible enough at the moment until i get further into the program. I have transportation im willing to work 7 days a week i just have to be off work by 430 monday thru friday. On Saturdays im not available until 2pm or later but available all day Sunday. Im obviously drug free bc of the program so passing drug screens for any job is no problem. I have work experience in food industry, as a cashier, as a housekeeper/cleaner, front desk at hotel, waitressing/hostess....etc etc just several things. But i cant seem to find a job or everyone that gives me a chance and interviews me just so happens to only be open in the afternoon during the hours i have to be in class.....this sucks

I am a child development major and all I need to graduate is 300 hours with children hands -on between now and December 6th. I can do this at a school,daycare,babysitting, whatever relating to children. If anyone can help me, let me know even if it is just suggesting an idea!!

I’ve been working all my life. Single mother 3 kids with oldest just graduated. I’ve been in HR for 11 years now, associates degree, with same company for that length of time and I feel I’m underpaid. I’ve said something plenty of times and when I did was told if wasn’t happy find a new job. Seen people come and go like a revolving door even stayed when my boss of 15 years left. Always being praised how good of job I do. Excellent work, hardworker and still not compensated fairly. I’ve been searching for a new job for the last 2 years went on interviews and still no hope. I’m starting to feel like giving up as all jobs I’m applying requires bachelors degree. My years of experience and not job hopping with my 2 year degree doesn’t seem to be enough. It’s very hard and I don’t even know where to begin. It’s very frustrating.

I got a recent inquiry for a dog service turned out to be a scam. I need a job but iv applied to 5 places and they have declined. I dont know what's wrong my resume is fine. I was told that I am expected to work this Sunday for a few hours to cover a parade. I told them that I was not available. The next day I was told that it doesn’t look good if I don’t show up ready to work on Sunday and to think about it. I thought about it and told them that I worked on Last Saturday (day off) and need to have my day off to take care of my errands and responsibilities with my children. I’m preparing to get more grief when I return to work this coming Monday.

Don't ever give up we all have our problems too worry about your kids further keep trying til something comes across.
