I have applied to 152 jobs and had dozens of interviews. I am 27 years of age and a single mother of five, I literally have no income and no help at all. I have been applying to walmart since I was 16, passed every assessment every time I applied. U call no one answers or they tell you we'll look at your application and give you a call back. I have experience in manufacturing, retail, customer service, and food service. I have held down every job that I have ever had for more than a year. I don't know what else to do I'm trying to stay strong and not breakdown in front of my kids but when you have every door being slammed in your face it just makes it that much harder to stay positive. What should I do?

I have completed being a stay-at-home mom. I’m now eager to put my education to good use - enthusiastic to get back into the workforce. Much has changed concerning the art of job seeking since last I was employed. Face-to-face contact and snail mail has been replaced with online communication and correspondence. Takes a little getting used to but I’m managing. Hoping to land a great career with good benefits once again!

I'm homeless with a one year old son, no help, no family no friends, not even money to eat off.... There aren't any shelters around here and I don't go to church. I've been denied by 12 jobs because I don't have enough experience. I'm ready to give up

I'm running out of money i had to take my money out of my IRA ACCOUNT so we still have a place to stay and I have a car to drive if not we would be living under a bridge somewhere it,s hotter than crap in this old house and paying 650.00 a month rent plus electric,gas and paying water bill to landlord during winter months its cold even thou u have gas heat in this old two story home . I can,t even get her to fix the ac unit and all it,s doing is freezing up.I have 2 son,s live with me i had to raise on my own. know they r 22 yrs old and the other is 27 yrs old with disability has seizures and mental problems . and i can,t get the social security disability to do what they are supposed to do it,s a good thing i proof read everything from their I'm 47 yrs old and on their paper work they claimed i was hundred yrs old and me still sitting their in front of them . I'm trying to finish my sat,s from high school they said i did,nt need so i can go to college. and in process i need a job on top of this as well it,s bad enough winter will be here soon .i hope something turn,s up cause i put in application,s you see them saying they are hiring everywhere but i don,t think they even look at the application,s . i was told i was over qualified for volt,s wagon I've never heard so much in my life.

I've work for this company going on 2 years. I love working in this industry. I put my sweat and tears making sure the family and friends are fine, every and anything the company or family needs I do. I just got a raise a month ago, I didn't know it because my check was still the same. I'm a single parent of three but I am worth to them $.25. What can I do with that? I'm doing what GOD wanted me to do but really. But when a new individual comes alone, she gets baby, she don't do what I do no matter how I teach her, she does what she want to do. I LOVE THIS FIELD. I might need to go elsewhere, so I know I would be appreciated. Thank you guys for reading. Im going through but by the GRACE OF GOD I can make it. Be bless.

I have applied for almost 4,000 jobs in the last year and a half. I got my masters degree in Psychology with hopes of getting a good paying job. I’m lucky to work at a gas station making minimum wage!!! It’s pathetic how companies are hiring only for looks. I can’t get a job to save my life! For those who don’t believe me just ask around. I’m not drop dead gorgeous but I’m not that bad. I have 2 kids that are starving because their mother can’t get a job. I give up. Guess we’ll just be homeless. It’s sickening!!!!!

I am guardian of 4 children and have 3 of my own. Because of my busy schedule it would be hard for me to back to work.Working at home would be ideal for me.
