My advice to people interested in working at #GEOGroup as a #Casemanager ...
I was a case manager and my co-workers were great. But GEO as a company? Well everyday something is always changing. It's like a moving target when dealing with the paperwork. Upper management (Distract manager or area manager) changed five times in two years. Every new boss had a different agenda. They don't reinvest into the Day Reporting Center. It's learn as you go with no guidance. Poor structure on the Day Reporting Center level.

Sarah, first decide To ACT. I was a professional case manager/counselor for 18 years. I told all my clients that they had two choices: Take It or Leave It!! Sarah, I quit an 11-year job 1-31-2015 due same issues and stress, BUT I had other/NEW job lined up FIRST! You may have to take a lower level job for less pay to get out, but the change will feel wonderful. You can also Keep Looking for more relevant higher level job while you are in new temporary? one. But first decide 'how much more do I want to take?' in present job. OK? I hope that my advice is good help. Bob .......or ask for different position in same company.

Looking for a job!
Hey everyone! I'm currently living in NY. Within my current job there's no room for growth. It's a contracted position that will end soon. I'm really looking to get into the HR field. Although I have a background in Health Care Administration and case management with 4 years of experience to match. To be honest, I'm really looking a position with room for growth even if it's not HR.
If anyone has any suggestions or leads on an open positions please send them my way!
