The disappearing business.

I have experienced the following many time regardless of the business. By trade skill is computer programing and systems analyst (nerd job or dweeb work if you will). It began with Sears Roebuck and company, Portland oregon it was decided to close up the store many not relocated. Went into healthcare, after a few years same thing happened the hospital closed, Holladay Park Hospital. So I move on to a shipping company head into work only to find the building that housed the company was vacant, they moved it all during the weekend and left me with no forwarding address by the time I find where to late my job had already been hired out. Went to a restaurant Earth Quake Ethel's Road House, same freaking thing happens in business one day, and totally gone the next, that was Beaverton Oregon. Then moved on to a burger king at a shopping mall, worked there for close to 8 years, and the same darn thing happens, they close up the building and empty it, its now the "chase bank". It is utterly confounding, and confusing not to mention hard for disclosing past employment, the old sears store is now the new home for the Portland police department, earth quake Ethel's roadhouse is now an auto parts store, the hospital building where my office was is now the park for the drug rehabilitation business. It doesn't end there either, the craft store became a dog groomers, you might be able to relate if you have worked a mall and the whole mall becomes nothing other than a ghost building, just an empty shell of what it once was. Can anybody explain that let alone understand how tough it is for us to pick up and continue. Even my old neighborhood is now under ten inches of black top where I use to live is now the new car lot for the dodge dealership. Thats been my reality while being in oregon.

My advice to people interested in working at #BurgerKing as a #CashierandCook ...

Its a great job depending on how well you get a long with people and if you have a lot of patience. If you have anger issues, my advice is to not work anywhere fast food.
