My favorite part about volunteering at #BoardMember was contributing to the locals schools.
I worked with the welding program and spoke to the students. We also created a machinist program. We produced students so they could enter the workforce as an entry level machinist.

From a very small organization to a world wide aid to young American Pianists who,with the help of APA,are able to compete on an international scale. Background of the organization to its' present day home in Indianapolis we Hoosiers are certainly fortunate to have an entity such as APA headquartered in Indianapolis,IN.

Yes, besides attending board meetings, I was actively involved in presentations to companies and groups doing site visits. I always felt that the Cheryl, Dana and the local elected officials apprecated my efforts.
Sarah's Place has changed lives
This organization started with an idea/mission from Sister Sally Neale. She came to Elliott County, Kentucky 20 yrs ago. She has transformed lives and I was fortunate to serve on Board of Director's for several years. Wonderful organization.
