My advice to people interested in working at #BimboBakeries as a #RouteSalesRepresentative ...

Don't. Management doesn't empower its employees in any way and will micro manage you into oblivion. If you like being questioned on every decision you make, and being told how to do your job by people who have not done your job, be my guest

How my time as a #RouteSalesRep at #BimboBakeries changed me

I grew in the field of service, it was a job that demanded moments that you had to adapt too quickly because of the nature of the product! BREAD has a short shelf life and you had to track your promotions that lasted 1-2 weeks. I learned most of this discipline in the ARMY (service) but the hours of this job enabled me to be my kid's #1 fan mostly in sports that attributed to their confidence and both are doing well working their way thru college! Although my exit wasn't a pleasant one, had I had the backing of the Teamsters I would've never lost my job! I was able to get a nice pension that will start this September! 25 years is a long haul but I am very excited in my next career in Security as I get to fall back on my studies in Criminal Justice and some of what I learned in my time in the ARMY!
