Si es por phone, no tienen opción de español, ya que por mi regular habla inglesa, no dejan los mensajes en mi contestadora. Son más de 10 años sin un trabajo estable, que permita aportar al Seguro Social y aumentar mi retiro. Pongo decenas de aplicaciones, y hasta las agencias federales de empleo, me piden inglés fluído.

No tengo experiencia pero tengo muchas ganas de trabajar y de aprender lo más posible

Hi I am new to this but I don't know what to say, let start with myself I live in New York and I move to Virginia Beach so I start apply for any job like cashier/ sale assissocite or housekeeper. so when I got call from Michael's the only thin they ask me what your names when did I graduate from high school and that person never mention their names and it say will send application in 2 hours but it did not happened. Other I apply for housekeeper and they call me so I answer and they since w already spoke on the phone I will speak with owner from housekeeper to set up interview but it did not happened either.

Okay, so at first when i filled out the application i mentioned i am bilingual, within 5 minutes of filling out the application i got an email back about an interview. I was worried that they were only wanting to interview me because i am bilingual because its a valuable skill. BUT i had my interview today and she didnt even ask me to demonstrate. Didnt even mention it. So it makes me feel like they wanted me for my experience.

I have emails that because I'm not bilingual they will get me in a different class an that never happens or all of the the ones that I applied for on here just call will some stupid stuff like do i want to go to school.... No I need a job to be able to live an eat. Lynx service did this exact thing to me an for a year has had a hiring sign out but took a drug test for them an no problems there an out of an interviewing class didnt get hired cuz they hired bilingual an ppl that couldn't even dress for an interview(crazy hair colors an dirty tennis shoes an ripped up pants. It was very disappointing that I really needed an wanted a job an insured so that I could be able to take care of my own life an not have to look for some government or state service to be able to live an eat. An the online crap gets you more crap calls then the ones your really on there for A JOB !!!!

Hi i am from Trinidad and have an accent to which i cant hide(even when I try) well I need help! I have had a couple of interviews and the one I wanted to be called for, did not call me, and I think its because of my accent. To me thats should not have much to do with the job your appling for or interviewed for. Any way any ideas of how or where i can go for help.
