Celebrating Shirley Chisholm

Shirley Chisholm was the first Black woman to be elected to Congress - working on the Education and Labor Committee and also helped form the Black Caucus. In 1972, she made history again, becoming the first Black woman to run for president. #BHM #BlackHistoryMonth
