My advice to people interested in working at #RainbowUSA as a #ASSISTANTMANAGER ...

Don't got to a poor performance store whose sales are low, reason being when it's time due for an evaluatuon rather higher increase in pay, vacation time, benefits etc you'll not receive it.

The biggest mistake I made as a #AssistantManager at #Idens ...

Trying to actuality take some PTO that I racked up over about a year and hadn't used ant of (had over 40 hours). My younger brother and father were in town visiting (they live in South Carolina). After covering for my boss and running the shop (I was the assistant manager) during a two week absence after his child was born, I thought taking my approved PTO days wouldn't be an issue. I received a text at 9:30 A.M from my manger saying, "bring in your key and uniform. " I was fired just like that. The reasoning behind it was they needed me to train that new manager (after being told I would be getting the promotion to manager). He had no Auto Body detailing experience and I had been assistant managing that shop for about a year. Needless to say I was already fairly upset about that, so taking a couple paid time off days felt very reasonable and fair. I think anybody could find a reason to take a couple paid time off days after year of taking no time off. the company has one of the worst turnover rates I have ever seen and I have worked in about five or six different restaurants, which if you've ever worked in a restaurant you know how much employee turnover there is, there is a lot. I trained more new employees and met more new trainees then I ever had at any other job in any field of work. It just shows that the company has zero royalty to you no matter what you put in and give to them. Maybe it just wasn't a good fit for me, it seems like an alright company for a while. But when it came down to it they didn't care about me.

My advice to people interested in working at #Forever21 as a #Assistantmanager ...

It's an amazing place to work, they really appreciate your support to the company, there are a lot of opportunities to grow up and the owner is always willing to recognize your big efforts with a better salary and appreciation to his employees.

My advice to people interested in working at #HeatherKnollretirementnursinghome as a #Superviser,/ass.manager ...

Hello My name is Theresa Smith I worked at Heather Knoll for eight years from 1998-2006, it was a great experience for me. I got to meet some wonderful people there, the co-workers where pleasant to work with. When in an emergency we all pulled together as one and got the job done. This job was my second job there in Ohio, I was planning on retiring from there but things happened. I would tell others do go there get the experience of a life time. Getting to know the residents and their family is like having a second one. You get to know what their lives were like and what they went through at your age and learn their whole life history, something you never learned in school. Working at Heather Knoll is a great learning, experience in the medical place to get started in, no matter what department you apply for. With this being said good luck to all, in what ever decision you make. Theresa Smith

what wad most stressful about work at subway?

is that a trick question? if your the night supervisor bc your manager and assistant both wanna work days then everyday is your most stressful day. exspecially if you have a new closer everday bc they always quit bc the jod wasnt "as easy" as they thought it would be. most night i clocked out and would stay an hour after my closing time just to make sure i picked up the slack and got majority of the work done. its rough working practically by yourself 5-6 nights a week. and if a precloser quit id have to q work 11-10:45. there were weeks where i would end with almost 70 hours. i mean dont get me worng i love workig that much when its EXPECTED but when im called at 9 am being asked to come in at 11am. it gets pretty stressful ive had night when i would actually fall asleep standing up while i was count my drawers for the day.

Can't Win For Losing

So i applied at doll Dollar General for keyholder position my background came back I feel because 3 months ago I was caught in a sting of selling alcohol to a minor but I went under gold classes ABC class which allow me to get my certificate which allowed me to basically not have that on my background but it's still showing on my background okay so I went and I apply for a Dollar Tree management position now they're saying they have to do a background my question is I'm wondering with that stop me from getting the management position also because they told me the reason why I didn't get it for Dollar General because Dollar General sells alcohol and tobacco but a Family Dollar I mean not Family Dollar but dollartree doesn't sell none of those above so I was just wondering and hoping and praying that I get this position that they overlooked that on my background because it has it been taken off
