Which type of engineer would you be?

I am a college student wanting to change my major from accounting. I was interested in becoming an engineer so I took this quiz on LockHeed Martin website. I got Software engineer! http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/innovations/engineer-quiz-eweek.html

What should I expect from a practical welding test with Trinity Industries?

I applied online and Trinity Industries called me in for an interview and practice test. I just finish welding school not too long ago so this would be my first welding job if I can get it. A little nervous about the practical welding testing and not sure what to expect.

How can I quickly learn about packing slip spec calculations before my Warehouse interview with Thermo Fisher Scientific next week?

I have a big interview set up for a warehouse job with Thermo Fisher Scientific but I heard part of the interview includes a warehouse packing calculation assessment which I’m totally unfamiliar with. I’ve worked in warehouses before but only as an unloader/sorter. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks!

FedEx interview today but I’m not sure what to expect…

I just finished an FedEx interview this morning for a part time warehouse position. I felt like I hit it off pretty good with the manager in the beginning of the job interview so I felt confident. He told me the interview consist of some general questions and 5 assessment questions that he would later score to help determine if I get the job. It’s a 5 question math assessment that I use a formula provided to calculate results and respond. I took it and missed 1 out of the 5 questions. The manager told me that just started interviewing applicants and they would be evaluating a pool of about 20 candidates to fill 10 open positions and he would be contacting be within a couple of weeks to let me know if I got the job. Does anyone here have any experience with this type of interview process. Do you think missing 1 out of 5 is a no go for me?

Letter of opportunity

I recently sat for an oral interview/exam. I received a letter from HR stating my score and placement for eligibility for an opening with eligibility in effect for two years. Should i continue to correspond with the HR rep with updated resume to acknowledge my interest?

I would like very much to work in Ross, my favorite store, but they had rejected after the assessment results. I did it in english and perhaps I had made mistakes. Should I repeat the assesment in spanish to get another opportunity?

Is there a type of questionnaire to help find your areas of interests to help one find a different career path? I remember taking one which gave me a few other paths to try other than the one I am currently on. I am trying to find a change in career paths that won't eventually turn me off for job. Any suggestions on where to find these questionnaires?

Is there a standardized test that can tell me my natural talents and give me job advice?

Most career tests have a list of questions similar to "how much do you like this on a scale of 1-5" but I would really like to take a test similar to the SAT that would test my talents in various fields like math, scientific reasoning, or even stuff like organizational skills, attention to detail, etc.; and have these put into percentiles that reference my aptitude for certain jobs. Anybody know of any test like this that exists?
