Asessments
If your're hiring & really need people, why does an score on a test even matters. You can't get any good workers worrying about an test score.

LifeChange Help!
I need to find another way to make a living. Anything that I can consistently wake up at least a little excited to do is enough for me at this point. Willing to sell, give up, and change everything in my life that’s holding me back from being more fulfilled and keeping me imprisoned in this catastrophic daily routine. Can anyone recommend an assessment test or formula I can rely on to help me discover another job I can be good at and hopefully figure out a different career path?

My digits
Looked at many descriptions my first week reading it like, there will be the job for me?4 days all it takes to teach it all. Do you manage and then not train us 4 days in what they should teach verbally.Instead we go to assessment . Seriously too much just for a person to handle..I'm not sure more can get hired. If it will take some to rehire someone for a company?I heard 6,000 in some areas.

Assessment tests pre and post interview
I am a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, passed the very difficult HL7 Certification exam in 2011 on the first try, having studied completely on my own (at Quest Diagnostics, where I worked at the time, it was unheard of for anyone to pass this the first time without taking courses or having help. My last job at Harvard Vanguard Atrius Health in Needham, MA, Epic was the EHR in use, my manager was highly approving of my work as were my team mates. A new CEO came on board during my 3rd month there who talked of nothing but budget cuts. I and others were laid off. Fine. Since then I have been required to take an Epic assessment exam which is like an SAT test. I have felt I did well both times I took it at the insistence of two recruiters, but was told only "you didn't do very well" and was denied either an interview or the job I had already taken many good interviews for with many people who seemed to approve of me, my experience, etc. One job needed FIFTY NEW PEOPLE yet I "did not qualify" for ONE position out of FIFTY. Something smells in Denmark here. I called the bosses of both recruiters, one of whom was all over me before the exam and would not even have the decency to return my calls or emails after I took the test to even tell me how I did. I was forced to ASSUME I "didn't do very well." Utterly degrading and horrible. No one has been able to tell me what my actual score was or how the test is graded. Has anyone heard of or experienced this?

How much for the test??
Does anyone know how much it costs to take the ETA Vending Technician certification test? Trying to find some info online but I’m coming up empty.

HR Manager
I have an exam with the Riverside Transit Agency. What can I expect?

Negotiating tips?
Hopefully this isn't premature as I have not heard back since taking the personality assessment, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips on negotiating. We have already discussed salary but I have never been good at asking for vacation time and other perks. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Offer! pending personality assessment
Yes, I got the call! But I have to take a personality assessment before they officially make the offer. I've taken them before and have always been told I've done well but usually it's before the interview. So, wish me luck!

is lying neccessary?
So i cant get a job by just filling out anapplication since every place says no experience, they always pick the one with it so do i have to lie?
Also. The assesments that i have to take at walmart/samsclub/burlington/etc. I never seem to pass. It says answer honestly and what i put makes perfect sense! (Ex. If a customer asked me a question and i dont kniw the answer and it isnt my dept then i should go find some1 who does.) And yet i keep failing! Frustrated! And now my family keeps telling me that im useless and cant do anything right! Like.. WTF DO I DO?????
