I'm A Little New At This

I'm kind of new at finding jobs online, I'm usually a person who goes out to places to find a job, but I haven't really had time recently to go out hunting for one. If you have any tips, please let me know. Also here is a random drawing of mine that is also my profile picture.

It's important to volunteer @ #Assistintheirartprogram because...

I feel that the children lack the attention at home that they seem to be able to express themselves here

I wanted to work at #OurCherishedMemories because

I don't know why it doesn't show my responses to all questions... I was the owner of Our Cherished Memories painting ceramic angels. I also painted other figurines and made Christmas wreaths and sport themed ones. Originally I began to paint due to stressful days at work.... I kept myself busy and worked on weekends dealing with private boutiques in the Antelope Valley displaying and selling my figurines. I eventually started selling at Art Festivals where I did well. I also displayed items at private home parties. Honestly, it helped with my stress and made a nice little profit from my work. I still make wreaths for friends and family during the holidays....

My advice to people interested in working at #OurCherishedMemories ...

I closed my business in 2014 due to personal issues. If I was still painting I would tell applicants that the painting of figurines can be great but not for everyone. It would be essential that applicants demonstrated their talent on a small ceramic peice and loved to paint . I would make my decision based on their expierence and their work.

The biggest mistake I made at #OurCherishedMemories ...

I was in need of help, looking for someone who was expierenced in painting bisque and plaster figures, not for everyone, it can be time consuming and frustrating. I let the room and made a few phone calls and returned to my work room. What I found was a complete mess and disaster. My mistake was leaving the room and not watching what she was doing.... I decided it was better if I kept my daughter and her friend helping me paint and not hire anyone I didn't know.

My advice to people interested in working at #Kaman'sArtShoppes as a #LeadBodyArtist ...

Relax, you won't be the best when you start. Just like anything else practice and work on your craft. Once you master those little techniques like line quality, color mixing, and anything else the job will be something you look forward to. You know how most people hate their job at 'Kaman's' you'll learn to love it because, it's fun to do what you love with people who love the same thing.

The best part about working at #MickeyGilley was

He was the absolute best boss anyone could ever have. So down to earth and the fact that he loves fur babies was an added bonus. He is an amazing guy and more people would do well to be like him.

I made working for #SventographyStudios a good experience by

taking photography jobs that I knew I, and those who work with me, will enjoy. We work a lot of concerts, models, and product photography. It has always been my passion and my dream to have my own photography business and I am simply pursuing that dream while having fun doing it.

Best writer's portfolio?

Morning Jobcasers ~ I am a writer who was recently asked if I had a portfolio. I'm ashamed to admit I do not, despite having a ton of experience! Any writers in the house? If so, what platform(s) do you use to showcase your work?
