Cosplayer looking for work
My father passed away two months ago and bills getting hard to pay

Lost my job after 8 years
I recently got fired from my job after 8 years with nothing but great reviews. This was about a month after taking pto fmla for our new baby girl. Got put in front of hr because I moved a parking cone so I could park there ( the cone was floating around the parking lot all month.) I put the cone in an owners “spot “ a few times (even though we don’t have assigned parking). They said that I was getting suspended for harassment. (Is moving a cone harassment?) the next day they said I was fired and couldn’t go on the premises. They wouldn’t let me pick up my personal belongings and said they would mail it to me with my last paycheck. Feeling frustrated, as it seems like they were looking for a reason to get rid of me. There was no warning and they didn’t follow any put in place protocols. Looking for a new job in graphic design and photography if you know of anyone who could help. Senior Graphic Designer
What I loved about my last job was my involvement with the mission of the organization. I have been involved with international development and global health for over 18 years, and find it extremely fulfilling.

I #landedMYjob at #LeftbankArt by...
The only thing good i can say about Leftbank Art is the the Human Resource experience that i gained. The owner Chris Hyun and his cousin Shawn Kim are the most racists people i have ever met. The owner Chris will belittle you in front of everyone, will make fun of the mexicans that work there. He has called them cheap labor, due to the fact that they are hired with fake SS# and I.D's. Both Shawn and Chris are very much aware of the employees working illegally. If you have the time to take off and you use it they will question you and may write you up for taking to many days. They work you 10 hrs with a 15 min break, two 10 min breaks and a 45 min lunch!

Do it
I needed change. I need a new gig a new direction and I saw an add for a copywriter position and it seemed interesting, of course I was picturing some mad men-esque situation of creativity and drinking but, i also imagined writing again. I have been a writer for many years and many theatrical venues but, copy writing, never. But I applied and got the interview. When i walked in the office it hit me that I was old. much older than even my CEO and part of me gave up. how could I possibly change my life at this stage of the game? I interviewed, was honest, was true and I got hired. I started learning things day one, hard and fast and now, i feel solid and string and i don't think about the age thing. it is never too late to try, it is never to late to redefine yourself. No one is going to believe in you but you. Risk, leap, change it up, trust yourself. If your gut says yes, then take it as gospel, why not? years mean experience. For me, i have written plays,. sketch comedy, films, stage shows, essays but I was never a copy writer ...I told myself I couldn't be. Don't do that to yourself. people lining up to tell you nope, you can't, don't help them, help yourself. Believe it, experience is so valuable, trust yourself and go after it. It will work out.

Trying to start a new career
So after 20+ years in the medical field, I decided to follow my dreams and received my bachelors degree in Media Art and Animation this past October. I am still currently employed in the medical field, but am have a lot of difficulty finding a job in my new field. Most everything I find is requiring 2-5 years experience. I have found these job sites so far to be no help as I am getting job matches for all medical stuff because of my resume. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
