To file a bunch of grievances against fellow employees and treat them just as they treated me; with contempt and I distance.No one wants to hear it and they dont want to deal with it especially when it deals with blatant favoritism, racism, and even physical attacks which I also endured from a female supervisor who hated my guts.Blatant, witnessed physical attacks. Not one person was going to tell the truth which is that for no apparent reason she suddenly pounded me in a crowded elevator in the workplace.

It was a great place to work. They have since been bought out.

Be sure that you can afford to do so because it's a non-profit and sometimes money is tight

Be a "people" person. During the flu season things get busy & there are days when patients aren't prepared with insurance cards & co-pays plus they're not happy to get a shot. All of that can bog down the system or flow of the day. It's a great place to work because no day is the same.

Southwest General Hospital is a great place to work. The pay is comparable, the Management knows Most of their employees by name, the support system for Associates is better than average. The ability to further personal Education is supported all around.
