JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service: • Manage customer service ensuring all customers are given best in class service • Practice the suggestive selling and offer merchandise on promotion customer may need • Adhere to all city, county, state and federal alcohol and tobacco and restricted products sales regulations. Cash Handling:
• Ensure all customer transactions are managed and effectively • Managing cash and credit cards in accordance with company policies and practice • Operate lottery/lotto terminal in compliance with all regulations. Housekeeping:
• Keep store neat, stocked, and organized • Clean and organize cooler • Clean gasoline islands and pumps, empty trash inside the store and on the lot Stocking and Merchandising:
• Stocking/replenishing merchandise • Stock, replenishing and cleaning products and supplies for fountain, coffee, and fast food area.
• Rotate all stock and pull out-of-date stock off the shelf.
• Must be able to work in various climates to stock coolers and exterior cleaning maintenances. JOB QALIFICATION: • Minimum 1 year of retail, fast food and/or sales experiences prefer. • Read, understand, and write the English language. • Communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations • Ability to perform “essential functions” of the job with attention to detail, speed and accuracy • Must possess basic math skills and balancing end-of-shift paperwork, including cash, credit cards, and discount coupons with minimal errors, overages or shortages • Must have the ability to work flexible schedules include weekends and holidays • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Requires the ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions. AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 years old to work on day and swing shifts. Minimum of 21 years old for overnight shift.
