If you were CEO for a day, what is one change you would make to improve your company's culture?

I'd set up an online and offline channel to allow everyone to raise their voice. If the company performs good, I'd also set up a reward funding for those who have raised innovative idea to help the company. I guess what I'm trying to do is to create an equal and transparent working environment where everyone will be treated as part of the organization and they feel their opinion or idea can make the company better.

Always remember 2 respect everyone's culture and beliefs and know that each 1 can teach 1 regardless of age or beliefs and 2 realize that we're in NEW TIMES SO WITH THAT SAID... 2 HAVE ANY SUCCESSFUL AND PROFITABLE COMPANY 1 MUST ENFORCE THIS CHANGE OF LIFE!

I would promote Quality and Customer Service. Take pride in your work. Do the right thing even when no one is looking.

I would inspire them to see things the same way that I see them and get then to believe in the same goals as I believe in - I have to be passionate about my field and vision.

If I were a CEO for a day, I would listen to all my employees suggestions and ideas. IE: How would they design or improve their working conditions. Ergonomics matter! I would start a profit sharing pension plan to include them as well. There is always more than one way to get to the same outcome. 😊

@Bill Branstetter, wow.. in one day? Tall order for sure. I would create a panel consisting of employee voted representatives to be the liaison between Corporate and employees. Their purpose would be to ensure positive communications between those who manage and those in their charge. We used to have daily meetings to go over business operations and best plans of action to accomplish our goals in a constantly changing environment. I took team suggestions and feedback seriously and was always surprised at how savvy some of them were. We would troubleshoot challenges, revise outdated methods and implement more efficient ones, delegate responsibilities and regroup at days end to ensure all had been completed. One person was responsible for expedient communications to help seamlessly adjust logistics when needed. I had a high performing team and the business thrived because they kept each other accountable and everyone contributed to the outcome.

Encourage my employees to reach their maximum potential.

I am a CEO of 2 businesses. Location, location, location. And I'd seek more clients than the one I have.

Respect all nationalities and treat everyone equally...and believe that each 1 can teach 1 regardless of age or pass culture and time...New Times New World
@Bill Branstetter Hello Bill, I would definitely promote a remote work schedule and look into 4 day weeks with 3 day weekends, I’ve seen other countries implement this with favorable results.
