How hard is it to get a Line cook job?

That's exactly how I started but I would actually cook my own employee meal myself to show I can cook the food from the menu. A cook don't always like to cook other back of the house employee meals all the time. That would be the easiest way to become a line cook.

You have to have good timing with the other cooks on the line, know how to flip eggs & omelets in a pan, run the grill ect..! So if you have no cooking experience in a restaurant setting, it might be kinda hard!!

It's not that hard start as a dishwasher and have them train you that's how most people start

I'm easy to train, get along well with others.

No, but when dealing with food and people. You have to be passionate about the job. Some days are longer than others. Also make sure you love cleanliness and keeping your station fully stocked. Like it's your home because you are probably going to be there more than you will be home. I wish you all the best. God bless
