You can't let it get you down. Move on, keep calm and keep applying.

That they just missed hiring a great employee. They may say no but I know I am worth much more than they think. Move on to people who value you and your talents. Its hard and you may have to relocate. Your wages may be less but good hard work alleviates that problem. Best wishes for all,Ford

I have been trying to find a job for the past year and have put in at least 50 applications out of all I have had 5 unsuccessful interviews, it is very difficult to keep trying especially during this hole pandemic bullshit. However I had an interview today and I am wanting for my first schedule. I am 51 years old by the way, so if I can do it so can you. Just try applying somewhere out of the ordinary. That's what I did and I got hired. You got this, I got faith in you. 👍🏅🏆🤩

It can get difficult, in many circumstances not to take it personally. There was a time I was unemployed and went on countless interviews. The most frustrating and maddening thing was so many of the employers gave me the impression I had the job. When I talked, they smiled, shook their heads yes, leaned into me and for all accounts their body language and non-verbal signals screamed YES! I had situations where I was even taken around the office, introduced to 'my coworkers' and shown where I'd sit. Yet, day after day, week after week, month after month I'd leave and never hear back from them. They'd 'promise' to call you one way or the other by X date. That would come and go, I'd follow up and get very evasive responses, but then about 5 days later, the 'letter' would appear in my mailbox. You know the one. I call it the "No "F" You letter. Usually my name is spelled wrong and it says how I don't "meet their needs." What friggin needs??? Unbelievable.

I was just here. Don't give up. Tweak your resume. Get a professional opinion on it . Don't forget to follow up . Don't settle for anything less than your worth. I'm right there with after 130 applications. Today 6 companies have back to back interviews lined up for me. It takes time and location. Have faith 🙏. Prayer helps! God bless you and good luck too!

And there are professionals out there to help. If you can afford one, look for assistance at your unemployment office near you. They offer these services for free.

I would take it as a blessing in disguise. Not every place a person tries to get employment is the right place. I had to learn that the hard way in the past. If God does not allow certain doors to be open it is for your protection. 🤗
