How likely is it that Freight/receiving jobs will be replaced by AI?

That's going to happen

There still needs to be someone doing quality control

Extremely High. That kind of work is 'entry level' and an overhead expense to an employer. It makes total sense that they automate it or have AI do it because it cuts cost of doing business and they don't have to deal with the demands of employees for higher wages, time off, and benefits. In today's job market, the only jobs that are remotely safe from being transferred to automation or AI are those positions that are held by people who have the ability to demonstrate with proof that the work they do actually increases revenue and profits for the company.

Call me

No i hope not

Yes!

I will contact each of them and ask for them to send me a written letter from the HR department and or my direct supervisor. Then I will present it to the company’s HR department and see if I could be reconsidered for the job that turned me down.

REMEMBER THE HUMAN BRAIN IS THE MOST REMARKABLE TOOL ON EARTH ,WE CAN ALWAYS WORK WITH AI.

I’m new to the Lake Charles Louisiana area and seeking remote jobs
While there may be some impacts on freight/receiving jobs due to advances in technology, these roles often require human judgment, problem-solving skills, and physical work that are difficult for AI to fully replicate. It's important to stay updated on industry changes and continuously develop transferable skills.
