A degree was required for the position I had. Not sure if that applies to everything. Their job postings should specify if a degree is required or not. I went through a staffing agency that worked with them and how I heard about the job.

I worked for Boeing in Seattle and my understanding is they look for a Bachelor's degree for new hires.
