Package Handler at Fedex

Why is it so hard to get a job with a background whether or not you have been charged. Some of these companies pick and choose who they already want. I know ppl have way worst backgrounds and can get good paying jobs.I guess it's who you know. ?

@Sara Jones I'm referring to pending charges on someone's background. These companies needs workers but yet don't want to hire dedicated people because of another company decision.

By law, past employers are not allowed to say why a person left their emplyment. All they are able to say is yes they worked here, and yes or no they were dependable.

Its not who you know so much as what you DO and do NOT DO. You have more power than you think you do. Start the change by rejecting any feeling of helplessness. Tell yourself that you have POWER to change your life. Then go KICK it. KICK it good.

I wouldn't put too much thought on why it is so hard.....I personally believe a lot of it has to do with the person interviewing you. Perhaps, he or she has a complex and fears you coming in will put their job in jeopardy. I used to believe that the person intervening me knew more than me. causing me to trust their judgement. Now, I realize that was what was intimidating me. I was doubting myself based on what they thought of me. Now, when I go on interviews I look past the "gate keepers" the way I see it I'm interviewing for the job. they are interviewing for me to work there. I am also interviewing to see if the job is a good fit for me. I know that I am capable of doing the job. Now, I want to see if the job deserves me. We all got some dirt in our past (interviewers included) I don't judge you on what you've done, and I will not let you judge me. There's only two out comes to an interview. One, they hire me. or two they don't. that's facts!
