What’s one part of the job search you never expected to be this hard?

All the scams to jobs that arent legit

Finding job with pay good enough to live on

Finding a job where experience is valued.

Going on interviews and you Qualified with the experience and still don't get no call back.

Im old school where online takes away thr personality advantage of being in person. A big part of business is having character that shows eagerness and repensentation. Anymore jib search is very sterile and not personable. Its hard to present that through a middle man in processing your attributes you may have to become a part to a work environment. Maybe I am to old , but feel outside of this process and it cheapens my ability to be reconginized.

Jobs

I guess the hardest thing for me is putting in all the effort, knowing im qualified with history & documentation, make it to the interview stage. Just to never hear anything from the company interested.

Getting any response to your application, and trying to get an in-person interview with the company.

Getting around Ageism is extremely difficult.
Finding out you're nobody... No face, no history, no chemistry for the department, don't forget you're simply a piece of paper and you could be being read by an AI 😲🙄😬🙏
