Stumped in receiving stimulus check and unemployment benefits any information on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated?

I filed for my stimulus check and have not received it yet also I'm trying to get on unemployment but I tried calling unemployment and I get a busy signal all day long I tried filling out the application online but it comes up saying that I have had a previous account I've never been on an unemployment in my entire life I'm guessing I need to talk to someone in unemployment does anyone have any ideas or any information that can help me thank you #unemployment

Hi @Gordon Garland - I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time getting ahold of someone. It seems like that is unfortunately a common theme. :(

Is there a local unemployment office near you that you can go and try to talk to someone in person?
