Reaction Poll: How long does it take you to get to work?
According to the US census, the national average for commuting to work is just under 28 minutes, one way. I don't know anybody that has a commute that short, it takes me about an hour each way to get to and from work. How long does it take you?
š Under 30 minutes one way, I love that it's short and sweet
šÆ Between 30 to 60 minutes, on the longer side but I get to listen to music on the way (or read a book!)

Be glad you have to drive only 15 minutes. I work in a town that is eight miles from my home, but I allow 30-45 minutes to get there. A person has to consider sitting through stoplight changes, stopping for trains, a possible wreck ahead of you, and having to drive more slowly in bad weather. Above all, be thankful that you have a job.
My drive is about 15 minutes, one way; however, keep in mind that I only 7 or 8 miles from the office. that's how much traffic is involved, even when school is out.
Over an hour if good weather and no accidents.
Right around 30 minutes! Use to be longer at my old job but commuting now is so much less stress on my morning.

Well I'm in the process of moving so right now have residence in 2 apartments. The first one I believe is 1.6 miles from work. And depending on traffic about 10 minutes max. And the other one the complex is across the street. And while I am more in the back of the complex, I'm guessing it only take a minute or 2 to get to the front/light another one or 2 waiting on said light and probably another minute to get across the street and maybe just maybe another another minute to park. So I guess 6 minutes. I'll find out in about 6 hrs.

It takes me 1 hour 45 minutes at least All the way as much as 2 and 1 half hours I leave my house at 4:30 am to be at my work usually 45 minutes early
