Hi everyone, my name's Elyssa, and I'm a Community Specialist here at Jobcase. My team and I are always looking for ways to improve the Jobcase Community, and we'd love to hear from YOU!
How can we make Jobcase even better?
- What kinds of topics do you want to learn more about?
- What type of content do you want to see?
- What features do you think would be helpful?
Please share any and all thoughts/suggestions below!
(I'm tagging some of our members who have been in the community for a while now to help jumpstart the conversation 🙂)

Be up beat and courtesy, polite to fellow employees

Honestly, I don't think the Community Specialist's should bring up the Pandemic anymore in their posts. People come out of the woodwork who offer no really useful purpose and to voice all of their insane theories, wanting to argue, calling each other names, and the next thing there are 50 comments of people going back and forth like you see on Face Book, and other Social Media. It really saddens me. They use these ridiculous sources that have read on some fringe website and there is not one iota of truth to their claims. I check their profiles after reading the comments and 95% of the time it is their first and only comments on the site. It seems like those threads somehow go viral. And as far as these scammers on here, it saddens me you guys work so hard to help people find employment with your legitimate positions you post, and you guys seldom get replies. But one of these people log on here 3 or 4 times a week and post a scam, like Saturday for instance, 72 people jumped on board and inquired about the "fake phony job offer" Your best solution to get rid of these people cluttering up everybody's threads with this nonsense is to implement a program in your back end and when they log back in over and over again, is to block their IP address from accessing the site. That would pretty much put an end to it. Thanks Elyssa and the rest of you all for all you guys do! You rock! Need to get the community thriving again like it was in the past. We have lost SO many GREAT people!

I would love to learn more about where I can go next. I am happy in my job but I want to know what else I want to do to make my resume more impressive and wellrounded. Are there resources for this?

Love your response. When job hunting I just want to know about jobs. I don't want to see school ads or answer questions about schooling. It takes more time to get the school stuff out the way than it does to fill an application out than schools call me and I think it's a job.

We need to be able to see the Job Listings without interference from Ads like MyJobHelper which Usually end up being a Scam.

I would be interested in asking for help or advise to get a job that would be suitable for my current condition with my back. I've always been an excellent employee. I'm just concerned that an employer hears back problem and they think unreliable when I'm very capable of a lot of different skills

Hi there Elyssa,my name's Ford just like the car company. As for improving Jobcase I honestly have no clue how to do that. Time for some fresh and smarter ideas and there are plenty. Come on members and I will take a backseat(more car talk). I will be reading and learning from you, Ford

by not sending me bogus links to jobs and then getting yet another job search company that asks your birthdate (which is illegal). That would be a great start. So far, the leads to this website have led to nothing but a new bombardment of emails that lead to nowhere.

Send that I'm interested in
I like the lighthearted posts. It's nice to come on and get a good laugh or smile. Especially when I'm job searching because lets face it-sometiemes looking for a job sucks and it can get you down at times.
