I’ve found that documentation and or witnesses are the best plan. In addition, I would privately recommend trying to discreetly try to speak with that person if that doesn’t work then I would escalate to the next level and go from there. If this doesn’t work then go to the next level. Eventually the squeaky wheel will get the grease.

Stay professional and document your contributions. Politely address it with your coworker first, and if needed, involve your manager with clear examples. Protect your work without creating conflict.

I am non confrontational, and no big deal if they take credit for my work. the truth comes out eventually. Being confrontational about this only hurts the company as a whole. Any manager worth his salt will pick up this almost immediately.

Just document everything. But look for another job if possible.

My first attempt would be to advise management of the situation and let them know that I would like to handle the situation with the employee first.
